Blessings, Friends and Lifers! Our H.U.M.P. Day challenge is to pray in faith for the breakthrough, salvation, or answer in whatever form for a friend, neighbor, loved one, or workmate. The request has to be one that seems impossible in the natural. But more than that, keep in mind Jesus' words that certain answers only come about by prayer that is accompanied by fasting.
So as you call out to the Father on behalf of the person(s)the Lord puts on your heart, consecrate yourself through a sacrificial fast on this day of God's ultimate mission and purpose. Pray not only for the answer to the person's prayer, but also that God will use this situation to perform His complete will in that person's life. Pray for God to make Himself famous through him or her, and that EVERYTHING God intended to accomplish in that person's life be accomplished by the Spirit of God, not by human power or might.
We all know that we are living in tough times with people experiencing so many heartbreaking situations. People need the miracle-working power of Jesus Christ in their lives. We, the redeemed of the Lord, are the ones who can manifest that power on this earth. But God needs us to be willing to make sacrifices to walk in that power. So let's join our faith together today that victory is on its way.
Prayer: Father, as we arise today, we consecrate ourselves unto You. We remind ourselves of Your Word that You know the plans You have for us, plans to prosper and not to harm us. Honor our fast today, God. Thank You for already showing Yourself strong on behalf of the ones we're lifting up today. As always, we say get the glory out of our lives forever. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
